Welcome to the US 17 Bypass Project Web Site

The
purpose of this site is to provide construction progress information
and a forum for team member collaboration. The proposed alignment
for the US 17 Bypass in New Hanover County requires the bridging
of the northeast Cape Fear River and work within environmentally
sensitive areas. The project team has invested considerable
effort in protecting the surrounding environment. Extensive
agency coordination is occurring throughout the project and
pertinent information will be presented on this site.
